Privacy policy

Blue Industry takes your privacy very seriously and will process and use information about you (the data subject) in a secure manner. In this Privacy Statement we explain to you which data we process and for what purpose. In addition, you can read in this Privacy Statement about your rights in relation to our processing of your personal data. We advise you to read this Privacy Statement carefully. For questions you can always contact Blue Industry: info@blue-industry.com.

Article 1:

Privacy

  1. Blue Industry holds data about you, if you have provided that data to us through the cookie statement.
  2. Under the European General Data Protection Regulation you have a number of rights regarding your data and their processing:
  3. You can always view your own (personal) data and, if necessary, change it in your account. If you want to see the personal data Blue Industry has on you, you can submit a request for inspection.
  4. If you wish to change the personal details you have seen as a result of a request for inspection and which you cannot change yourself in your account, you can submit a request to that effect to Blue Industry. You can request that Blue Industry changes, corrects, completes, deletes or blocks your personal data.
  5. You also have, under conditions, the right to request Blue Industry to restrict the processing of your personal data.
  6. If certain processing is carried out on the basis of the ‘legitimate interest’ of Blue Industry or a third party, you have the right to object to such processing.
  7. You have the right to obtain your personal data from Blue Industry. Blue Industry will provide these in a structured and common form, which can easily be opened in other common digital systems. This way you can also transfer your data to another provider.
  8. In all cases where a decision about you is made entirely on the basis of automated processing of personal data, you have the right to ask us to review that decision by a person. You may always let us know your views on that decision, or let us know that you disagree with our decision.
  9. In all cases where the basis for a given data processing is your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. This has no consequences for the past, but does mean that we may then no longer process that data. As a result, Blue Industry may no longer be able to provide you with certain services.
  10. A request can be sent to info@blue-industry.com. Blue Industry will comply with your request as soon as possible and in any event no later than one (1) month after Blue Industry has received such a request. If Blue Industry rejects your request, we will indicate in our reply why the request is rejected.
  11. Blue Industry may be obliged to provide your data to a third party, for example on the basis of a legal obligation.
  12. Blue Industry may use automated decision-making on the basis of your details, if you have given us permission to do so. Based on your profile it is possible that you will be offered an adjusted price for Blue Industry's products or services. In all cases of automated decision-making you have the rights as included in the section ‘What are your rights’.
  13. Cookies are small pieces of (text) information that are sent to your browser when you visit the Blue Industry website and are then stored on the hard disk or in the memory of your computer, tablet, mobile phone or other device (hereinafter: ‘Device’). The cookies placed through the Blue Industry website cannot damage your Device or the files stored on it. When we refer to ‘cookies’, we do not only mean these small pieces of (text) information, but also similar techniques by which information is collected, such as, for example, device fingerprinting.
  14. This Privacy Statement may be amended. We therefore advise you to regularly check the Privacy Statement for any changes.
