The origin
Establishment of Blue Industry
In 2007, Blue Industry was founded by Rogier Van Kleef and Maurice De Bont, inspired by their vision and experience within multiple agencies in the same niche. Blue Industry started with a small collection of jackets and shirts. To strengthen the cohesion within the collections, the design process was brought to the Netherlands. This made it possible to develop a complete wardrobe and expand the range to include knitwear, polos, t-shirts and trousers. The name Blue Industry was carefully chosen: ‘Blue’ refers to the jeans with which the shirts and jackets combine perfectly, while ‘Industry’ stands for its business character.

International expansion
We are proud of the growth Blue Industry has experienced since its foundation. What started as a small-scale initiative in the Netherlands has now grown into an international brand with outlets in Belgium, Spain, Germany, Austria, North America and Canada, among others.
